PHASE I – INTERIM RECOMMENDATIONS
The development of the Historic Structure Report resulted in the identification of critical needs requiring immediate or short-term resolution. Addressing these issues as the highest priority is necessary to maintain a safe environment for the building and its occupants as well as to arrest deterioration that if left unchecked will result in the continued loss of historic fabric.

• Install Structural Shoring and Interim Reinforcement $ 3,000
• Conduct Critical Maintenance of Mechanical System $ 3,100

• Conduct Critical Plumbing System Repairs $ 1,000
• Conduct Critical Landscape Maintenance and Repair $ 11,000
• Add Staff Position (Director) $ 45,000
The HSR’s interim recommendations also include opportunities for further study and investigation that will provide a deeper understanding of the property and its components, thereby informing the restoration process.

• Develop Furnishings Plan $ 15,000
• Conduct Comprehensive Paint Analysis $ 25,000
• Develop Archaeology Management Plan $ 5,000

PHASE II – RESTORATION AND INTERPRETATION
Phase II of the project will realize the vision held by the Orange Hall Foundation to preserve and restore the building and its landscape, and present to the public an accurate and inclusive interpretation of its history.
